When I thought it was time for me to get married, I saw this beautiful girl on the internet who made my heart skip a beat. I called and told my mom that I saw this beautiful girl and she is just the girl I was looking for. To cut the story short, two weeks later we were engaged and two months later we were married.

In the background there were exciting things going on. To name a few, there were trials, preparation and testing of my faith. All that I have learnt in theory was put into practice from the time I first met her. I never gave up. I persevered and saw a breakthrough in every single situation. Let us rewind a little here. Both my grandmas gave up their jewellery as a sacrifice to God. And my mother followed the same and always wanted a girl of the same sacrifice to marry her son. Since grandma was a radio singer and mom played the guitar, they wished the one who married Jacinth be a singer as well. Sabitha is a talented singer and many know her for her naturally gifted voice. She sings for many bands and also has a YouTube channel of her own.

The first time I saw her picture I was sure I was going to marry her. And on the second day when I zoomed into the picture, I saw no ear piercing. I called and told my mom that I do not see any jewellery on her and this was crazy. I have found my perfect life partner that day.

Sabitha and I got the privilege to chat over the phone. We learnt exciting things about each other everyday. A week passed by and my father had a phone call with her dad asking for a wedding date. Couple of weeks had gone by and I discovered that we were setting off to for a holiday trip to the Maldives and we were meeting her family after this trip was done. I was surely excited. And then the day came when we set off to Bangalore to meet her family. We arrived home and was greeted until Sabitha walked into the room. She looked at me and smiled. I looked at the real Sabitha for the first time in my life and was speechless. She was BEAUTIFUL. October 3rd, 2017 I got married to this gorgeous woman who was not only beautiful on the outside but who had a beautiful heart. “Happiness is arranged marriage with the person you love”, said someone once. And this is my story.
